National Development Program

Introduction

This program is precisely for graduates who want the best of both worlds – sound technical skills as well as a good general business grounding in the oil industry. It offers endless opportunities for personal growth and career progression where, over three years, graduate employees work through an on-the-job development plan that involves them in challenging onshore and offshore assignments.

Objectives

This is a 3-4 year modular program designed to expose graduates to a variety of structured work experiences and is supported by first-class mentoring. The whole spectrum of professional, corporate life is available to them helping them to develop well-rounded business competencies.

Eligibility

The applicant needs to be:

• A UAE National
• A Masters, Bachelors or Higher Diploma graduate in either:
    • Petroleum-, Chemical-, Mechanical-, or Electrical Engineering
    • Geology, Geo-Physics and Petro-Physics

Experience of the oil and gas industry is desirable though not necessary.

Timing

There will be two intakes into the National Development Program: one in March and the second in September of each year.
